Hearts A Glow – Daily Challenges

Although Valentine’s Day was yesterday, it’s still appropriate to take a look at it.

Was the day special for us? Did our spouse make an effort to acknowledge it?

It’s hard to take time for our marriage or relationship when so many other things come first. The children, the jobs, the pets, the house, the cars, the…the…the… and the list just goes on.

Marriage is a bond that takes effort. It doesn’t just happen and the other one doesn’t always know what to do or what to say. (Even though we are joined as one.)

Why would we want to “work” at something, when “work” is all we do?

Hearts A Glow – What else can we do?

Try to remember that special day it all began. Even before the day you were married.

That moment in time when we knew this was it. That moment we said “I love you!”

It’s not always easy to make the time to be together, too much to do.

But maybe, even on this day…it can be something simple that reminds your loved one that you care.

While you’re getting the milk, the dog food, or dinner….pick up that one single rose for your lady or get that one single thing that makes your man smile.

Sometimes it’s the smallest gesture that can mean the most.

And if you forgot it yesterday, it’s never too late – to make it right today!

Hearts A Glow – The Bible Says

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; Love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in inquiry, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Corinthians 13:11-13
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Genesis 2:23-24
And Adam said; “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
