Does it sometimes seem as if we have no purpose in this world?
If our life is full and our heart is content,
then we may not have ever known such a feeling of emptiness.
Serving others and being there for them, is in itself, a purpose.
But the questions remain.
Why are we here?
What purpose does our life fulfill?
What is the end result of it all?
What Else Can We Do?
The definition of the word purpose is “the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.”
In spite of our circumstances, just waking up this morning, should give us a renewed purpose to do something better with this day.
The something better, is left to our own interpretation of what is needed for our life to improve.
And sometimes remembering that it’s not always about “us” can change our lives and the lives of others for the better.
The Bible Says
May He (God) grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose.
When he (Barnabas) came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Bible Trivia: For what purpose did the Son of God manifest? (See 1 John 3:7-8) “Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Bible Verse: “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
