July 23, 2017 – I Think I Can!

Daily Challenge

I think I can! I think I can!Do you remember the Little Engine that thought she could climb up the hill?

Do you remember the Little Engine that thought she could climb up the hill?
She did because she believed she could.

Sometimes, it’s hard for some of us to believe that we have the ability to accomplish something. Especially when that something is important to us.

The outside world has a way of discouraging us.
Someone is always ready to throw doubt up in the air, to just to see where it lands.

And then there is one’s own self-doubt.

Sometimes, when it’s a first for us to do this thing of importance,
it can be a very shaky moment.
We don’t know what to expect or what the end result be?

What Else Can We Do?

Just thinking and believing we can accomplish our goal is sometimes the biggest hurdle.

Tune out the negative words from others and tune out our own negative thoughts.

Find people who are ready and willing to support our efforts.

Imagine the goal being accomplished.
See the finish line ahead of us and see ourselves crossing it.

Think good thoughts and take positive actions towards our goals.

Move forward….don’t look behind too much….don’t stand still too long….Move forward!

The Bible Says

Hebrews 10:35
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

Isaiah 30:15a
For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.

Psalm 97:5
The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord.

Bible Trivia: What is better than gold? (See Proverbs 16:16a)  How much better to get wisdom than gold!
