Have we grown tired of circling the mountain?
Sometimes, it seems as if the end isn’t in sight
and the top of the hill is just too high.
The long road to the finish line gets longer,
and our dreams still haven’t come true.
The hours turn into days and the days become weeks,
the weeks become months and the months become years.
We’re more than half-way through this year.
Will we make it to the end?
I think I can, but we’re not there yet.
What Else Can We Do?
Take a deep breath and remember to count our blessings.
Be grateful for our opportunities,
and thankful for the chances.
Let the past be the past.
Focus on today.
Plan for tomorrow.
And trust God to carry us through.
The Bible Says
And you should remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.
And the Lord went before them by day in the pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light.
For the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.
Bible Trivia: What is the path of the just like? (See Proverbs 4:18) But the path of the just is like the shinning sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
Bible Verse: Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! Psalm 27:14
