It’s not easy to get along with everyone, all the time.
Does our anger sometimes get away from us to the point that we could actually do harm to others?
Does it sometimes just feel that way, even though we would never follow through with it.
It’s not just humans that we are capable of harming, it’s the four legged critters too.
We don’t mean to lash out in anger, we don’t mean to say those things, and we don’t mean to harm someone or something else, but sometimes….
…..sometimes it’s hard to control ourselves.
What Else Can We Do?
Remember to count to ten or even a hundred before taking that final step.
Remember to be grateful for what we have and who we have in our lives.
The difference between us and the ones who have murdered is that we stopped and they didn’t.
It may seem a far stretch to think of such a thing, but unfortunately we are all capable of doing harm, it’s a question of how much harm will we do.
Ask God for guidance and safety for our hearts to be right with Him and He will help us through our most difficult times.
The Bible Says
Thou shalt not murder.
1 Peter 4:15-16
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.
You have heard that it was said to those of old, You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgement.
Bible Trivia: Who committed the first murder? (See Genesis 4:8) “Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.”
Bible Verse: Both the inward thought and the heart of a man are deep. Psalm 64:6b
