Daily Challenges

Are we someone who has never taken something that didn’t belong to us – never?

Not even as a child?
A candybar?
A pack of gum?

In our younger days of exploration?
A pack of smokes?
Something our friend had that we wanted?

If so, did our parents know?
Did they care?
Did they make us return it? Did we?

What Else Can We Do?

If we have taken something that didn’t belong to us…
Ask God first and foremost for His forgiveness.

If it is possible to return the item to it’s rightful owner – Try to do so!

If it is not possible to return the item for valid reasons,
then ask God how to amend the wrong.
He will show you in time, if you’re listening and watching.

Also, forgive yourself.

We all make mistakes, but not all of us try to correct those mistakes.
Let’s be one of those, that try.

The Bible Says

Exodus 20:15
Thou shalt not steal.

Ephesians 4:28
Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.

John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundant.

Karen

Bible Trivia: What must be restored sevenfold? (See Proverbs 6:30-31) People do not despise a thief. If he steals not satisfy himself when he is starving. Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold..)

Bible Verse: Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. Luke 12:33
