Nowadays, some of our greatest inventions;
our modes transportation are being used as weapons against us.
From planes, cars and rental trucks are now the weapon of choice.
Going shopping, going to a movie, and going to watch a concert has at times, become a dangerous life threatening thing to do.
Workplace violence, and school violence are present almost everywhere.
It’s as if some individuals have taken matters into their hands
to retaliate how they see fit.
No place and no one is untouchable and it can be difficult to forgive and to continue to find love for one another among such behavior.
What Else Can We Do?
What’s that old saying, “When the going gets tough”…..
the tough should turn to God.
God is our only source of strength in these times.
Our country at times, and others may seem to be in a state of lawlessness,
but God is not.
In Gods words, He reassures us many, many times not to be afraid.
As Christians, we are not ever in a position to allow fear to overcome us.
We have already won this battle, because God has already won.
Trust in Gods ability to care for us. He is faithful to those that belong to Him.
The Bible Says
And then many will be offered, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
Bible Trivia: How will we know that we are Christ’s disciples? (See John 13:35) “A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Bible Verse: And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
